SCOUTING REPORT
TELL US MORE...
The offseason is upon us. Tell us a little about your off-season training:
I play basketball for State College. Basketball helps me keep in shape and stay running. We just started our regular season, on top of basketball I’ve been lifting 4-5 times a week. I took about a 1-2 months break from swinging, but earlier this month I got back into it.
Baseball is a game built on adversity & failure. How have you dealt with the the ups & downs the game brings? Who might have helped you along the way?
Adversity is something you deal with when you play baseball. Throughout my years of playing, I’ve learned about how to deal with the failure that the game brings. If something doesn’t feel right with my swing I try to get in the cages and get back to what feels comfortable. I know my dad will always help me by throwing BP or telling me what he sees.

Who is your biggest influence in the game today?
My dad is my biggest influence. He wants the best for me and he’s always been my biggest help. He throws the best BP out there and his knowledge for the game rubs off on me. All of my coaches have helped me get to where I am as a player and a person.

Best player you ever shared the field with and why?
I’ve played with many great players, one of them I know personally is Kevin Karstetter. He’s been a teammate and an opponent. He’s one of my best friends, and he’s a dawg on the baseball field. All around a solid baseball player with a bright future.

How has your experience been with Prep Baseball Report?
Prep Baseball Report was great with my recruiting process. I’d recommend PBR because they run their events very smoothly and want to help you get to the next level.

Most embarrassing moment on a ball-field?
I was rounding third base and I fell, rolled a few times and stumbled my way home.

The ultimate long term goal is what?
My long term goal would be to make it to the professional level. It has always been a dream to play pro-ball.

Virginia Tech was exactly what I was looking for. The coaches along with the baseball program is great, the facilities are brand new and academically it fit me well.
