PBR: Tell us all about your recruitment process, when it started, and why you decided to commit to Maryland.
Bello: My recruitment process started during Christmas time in my freshman year with talking to a couple small schools and taking visits and really went deeper during that summer and heading into sophomore year.
Bello: My number one priority is to get more rotation out of my arm and to reach back further and loosen up all my muscles. And to just get more movement and make some changes with some of my off-speed pitches.PBR: Looking at your skill-set on the baseball field, what would you say your biggest strength at the next-level will be?
Bello: My biggest strength will be my leadership and the positive attitude that I bring to the field and practice every day and just having fun out on the baseball field. Also I love to be in big situations and a very big strength of mine if performing very well under pressure and in big situations.
PBR: What’s your No. 1 priority going into the Winter in terms of getting prepared for next spring?
PBR: Who is your biggest influence when it comes to playing the game of baseball?
Bello: My biggest influence are guys obviously at the pro level but also a lot of guys who have came to my school and I have played with like Anthony Piccolino who is now at JMU and and his dad who played at St.John's, and my head coach Ryan Mahoney who played at South Carolina. Which those guys i'm around all the time at school and on the field. And just the guys who push me and help me to be my best that I can be.
PBR: Prep Baseball Report’s No. 1 goal is to provide players with an unrivaled platform filled with next-level exposure through events and multi-media avenues. What’s your experience been with us?
Bello: I only attended one PBR showcase in New Jersey and I feel like i got a lot of exposure and the help I needed to with Videos and some good comments about myself from the staff at the event.
