Of Note
>> OF/LHP Michael Siani (William Penn Charter) makes the move to No. 1 in this update following a strong fall and winter. The Virginia commit is a tremendous athlete who ran the 60-yard dash in the 6.7-range and showcased 96-mph arm strength during the defensive portion of a recent workout. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter exhibited a simple, easy stroke and barreled just about everything. Although he did not toe the rubber at the event, Siani is a high-level prospect there as well capable of running his fastball up to 90 mph.
>> Drew Baughman jumps into the top ten spots in this update largely based on his present power. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound corner infielder jumps from No. 18 to No. 5. The Liberty commit registered a 97-mph exit velocity from the left side and 100-mph from the right (the first time triple digits has been recorded at a PBR PA event) earlier this month while swinging wood.
>> A trio of standouts at winter events made sizable leaps in this update. All three will also suit up in a Team Pennsylvania uniform at this summer's PBR Future Games. RHP/OF Adam Schwartz (Ephrata) jumped 13 spots to No. 12, 3B/OF Justin Williams jumped 18 spots to No. 16 and catcher Cole Chesnet (Coatesville) enters the rankings at No. 22.
>> A trio of right-handed pitchers have also made their first appearance in the rankings. Aaron Feld (Octorara, No. 29), Matt Benda (New Hope-Solebury, No. 30) and James Balogh (Pocono Mountain East, No. 40) have all shown mid-80s velocity with a feel for their secondary offerings.
