slot and swing

When it comes to the swing, Chris Burke and eCoachBaseball use the 4 parts of the swing as the basis of our teachings.
If a hitter executes the first part of the swing (Separation) correctly, then parts 2, 3, and 4 (Slot, Impact, and Extension respectfully) becomes much easier.
However, the second part of the swing, the Slot, is one that is often overlooked. Even after separating correctly, it's extremely easy for a hitter to lose their path as they slot the bat.
In this week's Tip of the Week, Chris Burke demonstrates a great drill to work on the Slot. Check it out and be sure you are getting in the correct Slot position each and every swing!
NOTE: This video will expire 7 days from post 6/5/2018. If you are viewing this Tip of the Week after its expiration, go to http://ecoach.coach/baseball/ for more information.
