Prep Baseball Report

By the Numbers: A look at the early signees

By Ryan McCosky

Recently Blake Hibler, Indiana Scouting Director, wrote an in depth article breaking down all 8 PBR states and where their commitments were heading to school. What Hibler found was very fascinating.  Here is just one of the more intriguing facts from the article:

Currently, the Prep baseball Report has 551 Class of 2013 prospects committed from eight states. Of the 551 commitments, 391 are going to Division 1 schools, or 71%. These 551 players will be headed to 210 different colleges in 33 states. Of the 391 Division 1 players, they will participate in 33 different conferences.
