With the 2019 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2019 Spring Team Preview: Vandalia Butler Aviators

Team Name: Vandalia Butler Aviators
Head Coach: Trent Dues
Division: I
2018 Record: 18-12
Conference Record: GWOC North, 11-4 (2nd)
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/3

2019 Team Strengths:

  • Catchers
  • Utility Players

Coach Outlook: "We have had some injuries but we also have a good core to win some games."

PBR Outlook: Coach Dues and the Aviators have some injury woes to deal with, but even with the injuries, the Aviators have talent across the roster. If/when they are healthy, look out for Vandalia Butler.
