Bryant 8 vs El Dorado 2
Bryant defeated El Dorado 8-2 at home on Friday behind a strong performance from 2016 LHP/OF Evan Lee.
Lee finished the night 2-2 with 2 hits and a RBI and 2 walks, on the mound he picked up the win. During his five innings works he struck out 11 giving up 1 hit with no runs allowed.
2016 OF Rhett Connor stood out for the El Dorado. He made multiple impressive defensive plays to help his pitchers out of jams. Offensively he was 1 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored. On the mound 2019 Jacob Boshears had a solid outing throwing 1 inning with 2 strike outs and not allowing a hit. The Wildcats are young and our playing a tough schedule early. Watch for them to continue to improve as their young roster improves.
Bryant, played Bryant baseball with competitive at bats up and down the line up with solid defensive play behind a tough pitching staff that struck out 15 total. 2017 RHP Ty Medford came in after, Lee and struck out 4 in two innings of work.
