The Bishop Manogue Scout Day in completed, we now take a look back at the standouts from yesterday's event. The Scout Day included a Pro-Style Workout where players ran a Laser Timed 60 Yard Dash, took a Batting Practice, Catcher Pop Times/Velocity, Outfield Evaluations/Velocity and Infield Evaluation/Velocity concluding with Pitches Bullpens. This was an exclusive event for players in the Bishop Manogue program to highlight and promote players in their program.

The talent was present at the Bishop Manogue Scout Day and the metrics collected validates that this is a team capable of making some noise on both sides of the ball. Freshman catcher, Domenic Marconato, posted the day's Top Laser Timed 60 at 6.75 with underway speed for the Miners. 2023 two-way, Sam Kane, found himself near the top of almost every statistical category and earned the event's Top Raw Exit Velocity at 91 mph that he carried into an impressive round of batting practice that showcased his power potential. 2020 Future Games attendee and uncommitted 2022, Luke Metzker, achieved not only an event best, but a Scout Day Season best, 90 mph Infield Velocity, then earned an share of the Bishop Manogue Scout Day's Top Fastball Velocity at 88 mph. 2023 RHP/OF, Cal Scolari, lead the outfield crew with an 87 mph Outfield Velocity and is on the short list of players being considered to represent Nevada the at the 2021 Future Games. We came into this Scout Day with high expectations for this group and those expectations were met and exceeded with four sub 7.00 60's, five 85+ mph Fastball Velocities and four 86+ mph Infield Velocities.
