Arkansas' Year in Review: #4 White Hall wins 5A State Title as a 4 seed

The #4 story of 2014 is the White Hall Bulldogs and their run the 5A State Championship. A true Cinderella story the bulldogs overcame, being a 4 seed and won the state title. They received great pitching performances by juniors Daniel Sprinkle (Auburn signee), Antione Luster, and Sophomore Cade Canada. Canada threw 5 solid innings to help beat cross town rivals Watson Chapel. While, Sprinkle picked up two wins including the complete game victory against defending 5A State Champions Pulaski Academy in the finals striking out 8. Offensively Kirk Baugh and Justin Archer led the Bulldog offense. Baugh a junior outfielder was consistent all spring being a 5A All-State selection. Archer a senior middle infielder led from a short stop position and was Mr. Clutch getting big hit after big hit in the state tournament. Other post-season awards; Daniel Sprinkle State Tournament MVP, All State, and Antione Luster All-State Tournament.
