Arkansas' Year in Review: #2 Bryant Shuts Out Competition Wins 7A Title
December 30, 2014
By: Zac Bottoms
Arkansas Scouting Director
The #2 story of the year is the Bryant Hornets winning their 3rd State Title in 5 years. The 2014 club made their way through the tournament with dominate pitching. The Hornets pitching staff shut out their opponents in all three games. They were led by Arkansas Signee Blaine Knight and sophomores Zach Jackson and Evan Lee. Any successful team has great leadership and this group was not lacking in that category. Senior Middle Infielders Trevor Ezell (Southeast Missouri State) and Korey Thompson (Arkansas Tech) and Center-fielder Chase Tucker (U of A Monticello).
