No. 2 Lee’s Summit West 9  Ft. Osage 8: Two runs scored on a bases loaded squeeze bunt by Matt Graham in the seventh inning to put Lee’s Summit West up 8 to 7. Monte Harrison led the West offense, with three hits and three RBIs.

No. 3 Notre Dame 15 South Pemiscott 1

No. 4 Westminster 14        Principia 4: Jacob Buffa, Luke Turner, and Tate Matheny had big days at the plate leading Westminster to a 14-4 win Thursday afternoon. Buffa went two for two with a double, two RBIs, and three runs scored while Turner had a two for three afternoon with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored. Matheny led the team with three hits three RBIs and three runs scored.

No. 5 Springfield Catholic 20        Mansfield 2: Catholic pounded out ten hits and took advantage of six Mansfield errors en route to victory. Brayton Ballenger had three hits and Drew Rash went three the three with four runs scores to lead the Catholic offense.

No. 7 Rock Bridge 12 Smith-Cotton 2: Rock Bridge improved their record to 11-3 with a win over Smith-Cotton, their second win against Smith-Cotton this season.

No. 12 Pacific 13     Owensville 0: Kyle Dean threw a three hit shutout with six strikeouts and had two hits to keep Pacific undefeated on the season. Hank Vandaveer went three for three and Andrew David and Josh Conley each had two hits 

No. 19 Eureka 8       Lindbergh 1: Eureka took sole possession of first place in the Suburban West Conference (14-4, 8-2) with an 8-1 win over Lindbergh. Aaron Schnurbush’s stock continues to rise, throwing six and two thirds innings with eleven strikeouts and allowing one earned run. Schnurbush also helped himself going one for three with two RBIs. Sam Plank went three for three with two RBIs and a run scored. Mark Henken, Sean Murphy, and Connor Pahl each had three hits.

No. 20 Blue Springs South 6 Rockhurst 2: Blue Springs South manufactured six runs off on only two hits in the win over Rockhurst.

Monett 9        East Newton 1: Aaron Patton picked up the win, striking out sixteen batters in a complete game effort.

Branson 18 Nixa 11: Branson outslugged Nixa behind Tyler Whiteis five for five, three RBI afternoon, and scoring four runs. Ricky Ward, Brandon Seely, and Lake Keller each collected two hits on the afternoon. The two teams combined for thirty hits and thirteen errors.

Willard 3      Republic 2: Willard improved to 13-7 over and 4-3 in the COC Large School conference with a 3-2 win over Republic. Austin Reaves picked up the win on the mound, and is now 6-0 on the season.

Seckman 6                Parkway West 5 (9 innings): Brandon Smith drew a bases loaded walk to get the winning RBI in the ninth inning for the victory. On the afternoon, Smith reached base four times and had three RBIs and scored a run. Nick Carlton picked with the win in relief, throwing two innings of scoreless ball and striking out four batters.

Lee’s Summit North 4        Grain Valley 0: Deven Williams made the most of his first start of the season, throwing a complete game two hitter, striking out eight. Brett Connor and Jeff DeBaker each had two hits for Lee’s Summit North.

Hickman 8    Blue Springs 2: Jonathan Jones surrendered four hits in a complete game victory over Blue Springs, striking out six batters. The complete game for Jones was the first complete game for a Hickman pitcher this season.

O’Fallon Christian 13 Barat Academy 7: Cory Canterbuty did it on the mound and at the plate leading O’Fallon Christian to a 13-7 win. Canterbury went four innings striking out three and scattering eight hits, and went four for four at the plate with four runs scored and an RBI.

Borgia 5        Blair Oaks 1: Brandon Kleekamp struck out eleven in a two hit complete game.

Union 10       St. James 0: Jordan Weeks gave up one hit over five innings, while striking out thirteen batters in shutting down St. James. T.J. Johnson went three for three scoring two runs and driving in one.

Summit 3      NW Cedar Hill 0: Rudy May threw a complete game shutout, scattering five hits and striking out six baters.

Holt 7             St. Charles 1: Josh Abegg went six strong innings, striking out eleven  and giving up four hits, while not allowing an earned run in the 7-1 win over St. Charles.
