No. 4 Conestoga 9, Harriton 3
Conestoga rallied from yesterday’s 4-3 loss to Penncrest to move to 6-2 on the season. Jordan Little pitched 2.2 innings of scoreless relief with five strikeouts to pick up the win. Offensively, the star was Luke Mogle who doubled and tripled.
Spring-Ford 8, Boyertown 7
Spring Ford used a three run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning to come back from a 7-5 deficit. Boyertown had 10 hits to Spring-Ford’s seven, but a two run double by Connor Sheldon tied the game, and R.J. Sheldon came home on an error with the winning run. A.J. Bogucki had a triple in a losing effort.
Hatboro-Horsham 6, Central Bucks South 4
One day after a huge 3-2 win over Central Bucks North, Central Bucks South tasted defeat for the first time this season. They fall to 9-1 with the loss. Tyler Zingle was a one man wrecking crew for HH. He went 6 innings of four hit baseball to pick up the win on the mound. He also went 2-for-4 with a two run homerun in the seventh inning.
Liberty 5, Allentown Central Catholic 3
Liberty moved to 10-1 on the season with a big win over Allentown Central Catholic. David Rosenberger went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in a losing effort. Ryan Brong led Liberty’s seven hit attack by going 2-for-3.
No. 7 Nazareth 14, Bethlehem Catholic 4
Nazareth improved to 9-2 on the season with a six inning win over Bethlehem Catholic. Billy Deutsch carried the big stick with a homerun and 6 RBI. David Warner went the distance to pick up the win.
Shippensburg 11, Middletown 1
Travis Ott spun a five inning three hitter to lead Shippensburg to the win. Shippensburg scored seven runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to end the game. The inning was highlighted by a Marshal Witmer two run homerun.
Shady Side Academy 10, Riverview 0 (5 inn.) — Evan Eisner had three hits, and Chuckie Scales, Paul McCullough and Jake Kleindl each had two RBI to lead Shady Side Academy (10-1) to a league win.
