Orange City- 2017 FIU commit Logan Allen and the University Orange City Titans matched up against the Winter Park Wildcats. Allen would be be as advertised again. Commanding an 88-90 mph fastball that touched 91 as well as a feel for both the 73-75 mph slider and 78-81 mph changeup, he would work five scoreless innings. Allen would allow no runs on three hits and striking out ten.
Allen would be matched by 2018 RHP David Bulmer, who would keep the score tied 0-0 until the bottom of the sixth. University would eventually load the bases on a single and back to back walks before 2018 Michael Sinopoli would come through with a two RBI single.
The two runs would be enough for the Daytona State commit, 2017 Nathan Pedan who would shut the door and seal the win with a fastball that ranged from 87-88 mph and a slider at 72 mph.
