All-State Games Player Spotlight: 3B/RHP Cole Tolbert

The premier event on the Prep Baseball Report Mississippi annual schedule is set for this Sunday, as 30+ of the state's top prospects are registered for the exclusive annual event.
The Prep Baseball Report All-State Games will be held at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, MS this upcoming Sunday, November 11, 2018. The invite only event is the premier annual event on the Prep Baseball Report Mississippi schedule, featuring the top prospects from across the state of Mississippi, with several college coaches historically attending the event.
In the coming days our scouting staff will begin to preview the event, highlighting players on the current roster.
Today we take a look at one of the top player in Mississippi’s 2021 class, Cole Tolbert (West Jones HS, MS).

1/28/18 Long-limb 6-foot-2, 195-pound frame with room to continue to fill. Right-handed pitcher works from high slot with a long takeaway from the glove into a long arm stroke through extension. Tilts his shoulders at balance before working down the mound with a drop and drive delivery, landing square and finishing athletically. Fastball was thrown at 80-81 mph and was commanded around the zone. Breaking ball showed early spin at 68-69 mph and change was thrown with near fastball arm speed at 67-69 mph.
