A Look Inside 2019 Rankings

Last week, Prep Baseball Report Mississippi released its first edition of the Class of 2019 Rankings, after our scouting staff tracked down the top emerging talent at high school games, tournaments and showcases during the spring and summer months.

Today we take a look at three underclass prospects that have increased their stock in the recent past, making there way into the top 20 of the class 2019 rankings.
Kameron Partridge, SS/RHP, West Lauderdale, 2019
Currently ranked 18th, a 6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed pitcher with long, lanky, projectable frame. Long, in-line arm action into high-3/4 release with quick arm speed and regular effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 82-85 mph, touching 87 mph with tilt in the strike zone and solid control at times. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with spin, depth, occasional sharp break and fastball arm speed at 71-73 mph.
Billy Garrity, 3B, Sumrall, 2019
Currently ranked 19th, an athletic 5-foot-11, 190-pound left-handed hitting 3B/OF that hits from tall and balanced setup with fluid rhythm in hands. Small shift of weight, balanced throughout approach and consistently on time. Short aggressive path with feel to find barrel with middle of the field approach. Ran 7.26 60-yard dash.
Landon Gartman, RHP, Enterprise, 2019
Currently ranked 20th, a 5-foot-10, 195-pound right-handed pitcher with hulky build. Short arm action into high-3/4 release with hand speed and medium effort. Smooth rhythm, level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and finishes athletic. Fastball sat 80-84 mph, touching 86 mph occasionally showing solid control. Breaking ball showed 11/5 shape with late action and depth and fastball arm speed at 74-76 mph.
