We start our 5280 Spotlight series by highlighting our Colorado players who are elevating their game. The 2022 Colorado class continues to impress. 15 players have committed to D1 programs and so many more remain Uncommitted and under the radar. The Colorado off-season can produce some eye popping results in development. Let’s start with a some past PBR Colorado Future Games team members:
Scouting Report
Small side step transitions to pivot, Leg lift is controlled and waist high, slight coil. Easy rhythm to balance then aggressive Tall to Fall delivery. Stride foot opens with push through momentum. High 3⁄4 release Strong torso rotation with glove side leverage. Good Sync! FB 85-86 Good arm side run CB/SL 65-70 Good late 11/5 break, has downward plane CH 73-74 Good feel in zone, slows are slightly Great tempo and repeatability Top Follow in Colorado 2022 Class!!!
6-foot, 140-pound right-handed pitcher, a lean athlete, plenty of room for additional mass to be added to frame. The arm works long and athletically with quick speed and some effort to get out front. Fastball sat 82-85 with some late life to it, struggled with command at-times, but when in the zone induced swing and misses. Breaking ball featured tight spin and downer action at 73-75.
