Our preseason coverage continues with the release of the MPSSAA class 2A preseason rankings. These rankings will be updated weekly throughout the year until the end of the regular season. This year our rankings take a different path as the class rankings will consist of our best predictions to win a state title. With conferences containing teams of multiple levels (Such as 2A Southern playing in a 3A, 4A dominant conference, 1A Brunswick playing in a 2A and 3A dominant conference, etc) records will not be the "end all be all"

2017 Preview Central

With our 2A rankings, it looks like it could be a very competitive year for the class. We give the preseason No. 1 nod to defending champion La Plata, even though they do have a challenge in replacing Taylor Cook, Scott Logue, and Tyler Stockwell. As we showed in our 2A Preview, the West looks to be the toughest region in the 2A with four teams making the top 10 and a fifth just outside. Enough talk, take a look at our Preseason Power 10.
