Prep Baseball Report has officially updated their class rankings over the span of three weeks, updating the Class of 2024, 2025 and 2026 in their respective states. Our staff will now conduct a deep dive into the rankings and highlight key uncommitted players in each class.

Today, we take a look into the MD/DE Class of 2026 and highlight an intriguing left-handed stick out of Delaware, first baseman Brayden Redmond (Red Lion Christian). Possessing a physical 6-foot-3, 185 pound frame, there's still plenty of room to fill out and add strength with maturity on the horizon. It's an athletic makeup at the dish, showcasing a quick and compact stroke with strength middle to pull side. Feel for the barrel is still developing, however the advanced strength is intriguing and certainly has the makings of being a big power bat in the near future. Rhythm in the hands with some twitch, the ability to consistently catch barrels out in front bodes well for a nice mix of power and contact rate. The athleticism impacts the game in multiple facets, turning out an impressive 7.02 60-yard at our Maryland State Games this summer that plays into the fluid actions defensively at first base. Redmond shows the ability to work well around the bag with soft hands and a quick first step on ground balls.
