2024 MLB Draft: Top 50 College Hitters

The 2024 MLB Draft is quickly approaching with Day One (top 74 picks) scheduled to begin this Sunday in Arlington, TX. The first several picks are all expected to be college position players as this year's college draft class boasts several high end hitters starting with slugger Jac Caglianone (Florida). Travis Bazzana (Oregon State), Charlie Condon (Georgia) and J.J. Wetherholt are all also expected to be chosen within the first five overall picks. The first round is likley to see at least a dozen college hitters selected.
Three of those roughly one dozen hitters are catchers, a large strength of this year's college class. Walker Janek (Sam Houston State), Malcolm Moore (Stanford) and Caleb Lomavita (California) lead that group of first round potentials.
