Despite just four JUCO prospects being selected during the first two days of the 2024 MLB Draft, JUCO bandits did what they do and rallied during Day 3, resulting in 21 selections. The three-day total of 25 pales in comparison to last year's draft when 44 were chosen, but the transfer portal and NIL have no doubt changed the landscape of JUCO prospects and the draft.

The first JUCO selected was Brandon Clarke (State College of Florida). He was taken in the 5th round by the Red Sox, 148th overall. Caden Powell (Seminole State, OK) was the next man up, going in the 6th round to the Astros.

Completing the action on Day 2 was the selection of Jayden Voelker (Northern Essex CC, MA) by the Rays in the 8th round and Aiden Butler (Polk State CC, FL) by the Mariners in the 9th round.

Of all clubs, the Dodgers and Tigers had the strongest presence, selecting three JUCO prospects each, while the Red Sox, Astros, Angels, Rangers and Padres all checked in with two each.

Florida led all states with 11 draftees, while NW Florida State led all schools with three selections.
