CALIFORNIA, USA -  We are thrilled to announce that the 2023 Rising Stars Series kicks off on Sunday, February 26th at O'Malley Field in Los Angeles. The Series will take us from Los Angeles to the Inland Empire to San Diego to Sacramento and a few places in between in search of the top 2027 and 2028 players in the State of California. 

The Rising Stars Series provides players in these classes a jump start on their eventual recruiting process. With over 900 college coaches and professional scouts subscribing to Prep Baseball Report, players will have every opportunity to #BeSeen by evaluators at all levels. The Rising Stars Series also puts players on the PBR California radar for class rankings and invitations to exclusive summer and fall events as they enter high school.

Standout players from the Rising Stars IDs will receive an invitation to the Rising Stars Game in SoCal (5/21/23) or in NorCal (TBD). From there players will be hand selected to participate in the most exclusive event in the country for this age group, the Prep Baseball Report Jr. Future Games.

WHAT ARE THE JR. FUTURE GAMES?

The Jr. Future Games is an Invitation-Only event that will feature the best identified 2027-2028 prospects from across the PBR Coverage Area in a five-day event at LakePoint Sports in Emerson, GA. Participants will be given the unique opportunity of competing against other top-level players while representing California in a high-level atmosphere.

This event will run in conjunction with the PBR Future Games. The Future Games features the top uncommitted players in the Class of 2025 and 2026 from across the Prep Baseball Report’s 40+ state coverage area. It is one of the most highly recruited events of the summer and attracts more than 300 college coaches from across the country each year.

This one-of-a-kind event will include individual workouts and a 4-game guarantee with single elimination bracket play to determine a champion in each age group. Last year the Jr. Future Games saw over 30 players commit to Power Five schools after their participation in the event.
