2023 PBR All-American Game, Spotlight: Jayce Lee
September 8, 2023
On Saturday, Sept. 23, Prep Baseball Report is hosting its inaugural High School All-American Game at American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers. The unique event will feature the nation’s top high school seniors who are set to battle against a roster of the country’s best juniors in Class of 2024 vs. Class of 2025 action, giving pro scouts a unique look at current and future draft classes.
We’ve begun to unveil the event’s participants on our social media channels, and we’ll spotlight those players more closely on our site, too, highlighting past performances and scouting reports from the live looks we’ve gathered on this gifted group throughout the years.
Next we are highlighting Jayce Lee, an Indiana native and the top-ranked outfielder in the Hoosier State's senior class. Lee is no stranger to PBR events, having represented his home state in both the 2020 PBR Junior Future Games and the 2022 PBR Future Games. He was a standout at the latter, exploding onto the national scene and committing to Notre Dame shortly after the event. A premium athlete with upside and projection still in his frame, Lee sits comfortably within the nation's top-100 prospects. He impressed this summer on the tournament circuit, and will be in Milwaukee later this month for the first ever PBR All-American Game.
Prep Baseball Report's VP of Scouting Shooter Hunt had this to say about Lee before the beginning of this past summer: "Indiana’s ‘24 class is stocked (per usual) with premium arms, but Lee provides a dynamic position player skill set that is sure to excite. A twitchy, 6-foot-3, 185-pound outfielder, the Notre Dame recruit can turn the barrel in a tight window from the right side, and his ability to lift the baseball with authority stands out almost as much as his all around athleticism. The summer will provide him a chance to assert himself as a must-follow cold weather bat."
