We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England Scout Day: Stamford Bombers. This was a great opportunity for 2023-2027 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

2022 Scout Day: Stamford Bombers - Quick Hits
The Players
- CJ Berlingo, 2026- A right-handed hitter, showed a quick bat, driving it to all fields, with an exit velocity of 82 mph.Moved very well behind the plate and at 1st base. The frame is super athletic.
- Benny DeGruttola, 2025- A right-handed hitter, open stance, pounded the baseball to the pull gap, had an exit of 84 mph. Showed clean athletic feet and hands in the infield.
- Charlie Guinta, 2027- A right-handed hitter, an above average defender for his age, at the plate, drove the baseball from gap to gap. Good looking athlete.
- Andres Jurado, 2025- A right-handed hitter, balanced approach, hard solid contact, line drive pull approach, enough juice to be the outfielders. Smooth actions, feet and hands at third base.
- Aidan O’Loughlin, 2026- A right-handed hitter, showed a short crisp swing, more of a pull approach, had an exit velocity of 81 mph and ran well for a 2026.
- Andrew Tompson, 2023- A right-handed hitter, long and lean athletic frame. At the plate the barrel has whip and life to it. Showed very good range to both sides, loose whippy arm action across the diamond. The frame is super athletic.
- Andrew Soltes III, 2025- A right-handed hitter, stronger pull side swing, had an exit velocity of 85 mph.
The Arms
- Matt Scelsi, 2027- A right-handed pitcher, super clean arm action, works from a natural slot, located the fastball to both sides, with ease. Showed good shape and spin on the breaking ball. Big future, will need to condition and strength train.
- Andrew Soltes III, 2025- A right-handed pitcher, big, wide, durable frame. The arm action is loose and free, working from a ¾ slot. The fastball was in the low 70’s with more in there. Mixed in 2 secondary pitches for strikes.
- Benny DeGruttola, 2025- A right-handed pitcher, arm action is quick, fastball in the low to mid 70’s, with more in there. Mixed in a slurvy breaker for strikes.
