2022 Rising Stars State Games: South/West Preview

Today we will break down who will be in attendance this weekend. We will continue with Session 2 on Saturday which features the South and West Regions.

South

The South region is full of 2026 and 2027 grads from the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Naples, and Palm Beach areas. Pitching for the South will be right hander Grayson Klatman and left hander Ethan Trivison.

Behind the plate is Bryce Besece, Ayson McIntosh, and Cooper Obst. The infield features Alex Edisis, Brody Sadlowski, and Julian Navedo at the corners. Up the middle will be Alex Zhao, Thomas Ciaccio, Sullivan Smith, and Brody Welborn.

Finalizing the South roster is the outfield featuring Adolfo Camacho, Angel Rodriguez, and Ethan Cottom. Lots of talent down South for the Rising Stars.

West

The West region brings young talent from the West coast including Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater, Sarasota, and Bradenton. Pitching for the West will be two-ways Eli Millian, Matt Altman, and Cooper Riley.

Behind the plate is Austin Butler, Ethan Savinon, and Kris Colondres. The infield features Sebastian Prieto, Hector Rivera, and Nathaniel Roldan at the corners. Up the middle will be Parker Loew (LSU), Ethan DeJesus, Lucas Farrar, and David Daigle.

Finishing up the roster is the outfield featuring Brayden Spink, JD James, and Jackson Haughey. The West are the defending Rising Stars champs and will look to repeat.
