2022 Rising Stars State Games: East/North Preview

The 2022 Rising Stars State Games kicks off this weekend at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, FL. The event will feature 2026 and 2027 grads from around the Sunshine State competing to rep their region with a showcase and 3 games over 2 days.

Today we will break down who will be in attendance this weekend. We will start with Session 1 on Saturday which features the North and East Regions.

North

The North region brings 2026-2027s from all parts of North Florida including Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Gainesville, and the Panhandle. They carry a pair of talented two-way southpaws leading the way on the mound with Parker Granse (Miami) and Tyler Ellis.

Behind the plate will be Jonathan Marzullo, Romolo DeCenzo, and Jomar Torres. In the corner infield is Ilias Mamea at first and Carter Campbell at third. Up the middle is Tommy Glasspoole, Aiden Schwartz, and Samuel Lighttiser.

Rounding out the North roster in the outfield are brothers Bryce Moore and Blake Moore as well as Cameron Davis. The North roster is young and talented and looking to win.

East

The East region is full of young talent from Orlando and the East coast of Florida. Pitching for the East will be two-ways Bryce Niebrugge, Kingston Ebanks, and Andrew Barr.

Behind the plate is CJ Wall, Colin Thacker, Jose Tavares, and Jayden Wise. The corner infield will be Xavier Rodriguez at first and Chris Pedrinan at third. Up the middle is Tyler Lomas (UCF), Yavier Rosendo, Alex Wise, Erick Robles, and Alan Hernandez.
