Michael Robertson - Robertson is a high follow 2021 Draft prospect and one of the fastest runners in the country. He will take over as the team’s top bat with the loss of graduated Mac Guscette.

OUTLOOK

Venice is coming off a tough 2020 season where they finished with a 4-5 record. They graduated two of their top hitters in Mac Guscette (Florida) and Zac Calhoon (FGCU) as well as two of their top pitchers in Jacob Faulkner (Princeton) and Reegan Jackowiak. The Indians however return senior OF Michael Robertson (Florida) who is one of the fastest runners in the country and a top Draft prospect. Robertson should help set the tone for Venice at the top of the lineup. Complementing Robertson is 3B Aidan Corn (EFSC) and middle infielders Connor O’Sullivan (Stetson) and Marek Houston (Wake Forest). With most of their 2020 innings gone, the Indians will ask for Aiden Beechy (FIT), Huston Wynne, and Hunter Possehl (FGCU) to take on bigger roles in 2021.
