2020 Top 100 College Prospects
September 12, 2019
We’ve reached the beginning of the fall season as college players have returned to campus throughout the country and the top prospects have begun to sort themselves out for the 2020 MLB Draft (June 8-10). In what looks to be a very strong draft with both collegiate and prep prospects, the overall depth is tremendous. Our rankings are not an industry survey and are not intended to predict the order in which players will be drafted. Rather, this is how the class stacks up based on what we’ve seen with our own eyes. With that stated, our rankings don’t consider several areas that professional organizations spend a great deal of time and resources gathering; signability, personality/psychology results, in-person interviews, medical information, to name just a few. Finally, our rankings are not strictly based on statistical performance, but part of being a prospect is performance.
The college prospect rankings are assembled by Kendall Rogers, Aaron Fitt and Nick Faleris from D1Baseball.com and are spearheaded by PBR College Scouting Director David Seifert.
