OUTLOOK: 

After a second round playoff loss in 2019, the Saugus Centurions return a very young team with young arms that will be counted on to carry them through the deeply talented Foothill League. Coach Grissom expects these young pitchers to be counted on and up for the challenge heading into 2020. The offense will have some carry over from 2019 but will be turning to a group that is coming up from JV to provide consistent AB’s for the Centurions. Counting on pitching and defense could lead to low scoring games, but if these new hitters can be more successful with runners on Saugus could be ready for another playoff run in 2020.
