OUTLOOK:

The TRAC continues to be one of the toughest conferences in California and regularly showcases the talent in the Fresno region with Clovis East wanting to make this the Year that they are standing atop the Division. The Wolfpack will be led by a deeper pitching staff with a key group of Seniors being counted on to keep them in games. On offense, speed will be a big part of the Wolfpacks game and hopefully lead to more big innings to support that veteran staff. Their middle of the field looks locked down and if they can remove a few more mistakes should see their success come out more consistently in 2020.

TOP RETURNING PLAYERS:

‘20 LHP/1B Tyler Parker - 6'3 225, L/L

4-year varsity starter showing the stuff to be counted on in season. Chance to be the #1 starter for team because of his competitiveness and experience.  

‘20 RHP Gino Helmuth - 6'0 185, R/R

Multi-year Varsity player with competitive fire. Working on adding a third pitch and give him the ability to move through lineup more consistently 

‘20 RHP Carson Leoni - 6'0 180, R/R

Battling in offseason to be a starter for Wolfpack. CB is a weapon made to miss bats. 

‘20 RHP Elijah Acosta - 6'0 170, R/R

Another starter-type battling for opportunity. 2-seam FB/CHG combination create issues for hitters off same path. 

‘20 SS Elias Mart - 5'10 170, R/R

MIF has made leaps and looks to be one of the better players in the area. Should be on-base at the top of the lineup. 

‘21 RHP/1B Caiden Duff - 6'2 180, R/R

Physical build showing above-average command of multiple pitches. Still opportunities to keep developing.

‘21 OF Vance Hamzy - 5'7 160, R/R

CF speed and instincts on the basepaths to cause problems for opposing teams. Understands his game and works to execute it. 

‘21 1B Tomas Canales - 6'2 230, R/R

Short, repeatable swing from strong and physical 1B. Power coming in more consistently. 

‘21 OF/INF Alex Haider - 6'0 165, R/R

Speed plays out of the box, putting pressure on defenses. Uses speed in defense for strong range. Type of hitter that finds contact and gets on base. 

‘21 INF Blake Bolton - 6'2 175, R/R

High baseball IQ with extreme dedication to craft. Skills have made leaps and continues to show space to keep developing

‘21 OF Landon Pendergras - 6'0 200, R/R

Chance to be a Power/Speed type of player. Coaches rave about his strength and how it plays in the game. 

THE FUTURE:

‘22 OF/LHP Jacob Crain - 5'9 145, L/L

Live arm and FB that carries over between OF and Mound. Shows really good reads in OF, but Pitching may be his future. 

‘23 SS Sylis Mart - 5'6 135, R/R

Advanced MIF who would have a stronger chance at position if brother wasn’t manning it. One to keep eyes on.
