2019 EBLO Showcase - The Standouts
April 11, 2019
We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ontario's 2019 EBLO Showcase. This was a great opportunity for 2020-2022 prospects to be identified before season, create and update their profiles, as well see where they stack up with their peers. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase and below we have our pleasant surprises from the event.
In the coming weeks, we will be adding and updating profiles for each of the players in attendance, including complete analysis and video.

2019 EBLO Showcase - The Standouts
Owen Stevenson SS / 2B / Donald A. Wilson, ON / 2021Report: Stevenson, a 5-foot-7, 125-pound INF/RHP on the Stouffville Yankees was a standout 2021 at the EBLO showcase. Stevenson features a slim frame and has lots of room for physical development in the future. At the plate, Stevenson strides forward while featuring a slight scap load back then generating torque with loose hips. He displays bat speed with a flat controlled plane through the zone. His body movements work together allowing him to create rhythm which allows him to be consistent with his timing. His body control at the plate with a current slender frame is impressive. Stevenson an RHP as well fared well off the rubber on Saturday. It’s a loose, clean delivery that has been up to 71 mph with a slow breaking curveball with shape. Stevenson will be an interesting follow as he should progress physically, which will enhance the current tools he displays.
