Daniel Errigo, Neshaminy HS (PA), Class of 2020
6-foot-4, 195-pounder showcased a fastball that has late life and arm-side run at 78-82 out of a 3/4 arm slot. Stays more directional to the plate out of the stretch with signs that quick velocity gains are likely if similar mechanics can be adapted to the wind up. Changeup at 67-68 is thrown with good arm speed and provides a solid complimentary pitch off of the fastball. Slider at 66-68 showed curveball shape and is a pitch still in development. Errigo will be an interesting follow over the next year with the potential to make significant jumps in velocity.
Jack Palmerine, Mt. Lebanon HS (PA), Class of 2020
5-foot-8, 180-pound righty showcased solid command of his fastball out of a high 3/4 arm slot while sitting 81-82. Begins his delivery with a side rocker step and repeats his delivery well. Arm stroke is short in back and long out front. Changeup at 74-75 is a quality second pitch with arm-side run and good arm speed. Palmerine struggled with command of his curveball at 62-63 with 11/5 shape on this date. Additional velocity is should be achieved in short order with additional work to lengthen his arm stroke.
