preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

SEASON OUTLOOK 
The Oxford Wildcats will return 10 position players and 6 pitchers from their team that lost in the final round of regionals last season.  They have a talented senior class with 4 returning seniors having received post season honors in 2016. Seniors Grant Smith, a Coffeyville County recruit, and Blake Thurmond provide a strong combo on the left side of the infield. Reuter and Clements also have high expectations this year after both having strong junior seasons. In addition the Wildcats have 3 juniors returning, having recieved post season honors as sophomores in 2016. Look for Juniors, Dakota Mitchell, Cal Shimkus and Dalton Silhan to produce this year, making the Wildcats a contender in 2A.
