With the 2017 spring season right around the corner, PBR Michigan is eagerly anticipating bringing the great state of Michigan the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.
Starting in Mid-March, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2017 Spring Team Preview: Saline
Team Name: Saline
Head Coach: Scott Theisen
Division: I
2016 Record: 35-7
Conference Record: SEC Red Division, 14-1
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/4
2017 Team Strengths:
- Leadership
- Solid offensive lineup
- Pitching depth
2017 Team Weaknesses:
- New Middle Infield
- Pitchers Throwing To Potential
Coach Outlook: "We will be a strong offensive team with the chance to be very good if our pitchers throw to their potential and if our defense can make plays consistently. We will be breaking in a new SS and 2B replacing two players that had a total of 7 years of varsity starting experience between them."
PBR Outlook: A perennial power in Michigan, Saline and head coach Scott Theisen look to reload for the 2017 season and from the looks of it, that is what they will do. Talent from top to bottom has the Hornets ready to sting their competition in 2017.
