2017 Spring Team Preview: Colerain Cardinals
Team Name: Colerain Cardinals
Head Coach: Justin Yeary
Division: I
2016 Record: 16-11
Conference Record: Greater Miami Conference, 9-9
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/5
2017 Team Strengths:
- Starting pitching
- Leadership
- Work ethic
- Team speed
- Experience
2017 Team Weaknesses:
- Defense
- Scoring runs
- Pitching depth
Coach Outlook: "Top of the rotation pitching will be very good. Pitching will not be deep, but the top 5/6 will be solid. We have a senior led team. A few big bats will need to be filled from last years graduation and as a whole our defense must be better."
PBR Outlook: Down in Cincinnati, high school baseball is as strong as it is in the state. No matter the day, there will always be a tough challenge on the diamond. With that said, the Colerain Cardinals have upperclass talent as well as talent at the younger ages. Look for Colerain and head coach Justin Yeary to compete at a high level in 2017.
