With the 2017 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.
Starting in Mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2017 Spring Team Preview: Cleveland Benedictine Bengals
Team Name: Cleveland Benedictine
Head Coach: John Ellis
Division: II
2016 Record: 12-16
Conference Record: North Coast League, 2-8
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/3
2017 Team Strengths:
- Defense is our strength.
- Team speed and athleticism could enable us to put additional pressure on other teams.
2017 Team Weaknesses:
- Pitching
Coach Outlook: "We are a very young team. Last year we started 4 freshman and 2 sophomores. This year will be a big growth year for us as we look to continue to work toward contending for a state championship."
PBR Outlook: The Benedictine Bengals and 2nd year head coach John Ellis have athletes and youth on their side in 2017 with eyes on improvement.
