2017 Prospect Review: #5 Kaleb Hill
December 27, 2017
As the calendar turns to December, I want to review the top prospects from the 2017. These players have separated themselves as top prospect, with the potential at some point in their career to become professional prospects, if they are not already.

5/23/17 Pitching
Kaleb Hill began impressing scouts in the spring of his sophomore year. He had a coming out party in the Watson Chapel vs White Hall game. White Hall started highly touted 2015 RHP Daniel Sprinkle, a large crowd of MLB baseball scouts on hand. Sprinkle impressed but Kaleb Hill took the day picking up the when showing advanced feel for the strike zone with two pitches and a quick arm and projectable frame.
Hill has continually been challenged in top level events and has shown well consistently. His recruiting went into the winter of junior year after a big summer including a trip the Futures Games in Indianapolis. Hill eventually committed and signed with Ole Miss.
He should have a busy spring entertaining the idea of college or professional baseball, if he shows a slight jump in velocity it may become and easier decision for him.
