King had a big spring for the Panthers last spring, he was a key contributor as Cabot won the 7A State Title. He contributed offensively using his athleticism and line drive swing to hit balls to all fields. He also used his bunt and run game as an asset.
In the summer he continued his solid year with a solid season with the Arkansas Prospects. King continued to impress college coaches with athleticism and defensive skill set. Offensively his summer was up and down, but he shows bat speed and should continue to become more consistent as he plays against good competition on a consistent basis. In the fall he committed to Kentucky.
Overall King has a professional run tool, running a 6.64 in the 60. As he continues to develop offensively he has the opportunity to turn himself into a professional prospect with his elite athleticism.
