With the 2017 Underclass Preview Showcase coming up on October 18th at Grand Park in Westfield, IN, throughout the next several weeks we are going to highlight some of the top uncommitted 2017 prospects in the Hoosier State.
Player Name: Cooper Trinkle
Primary Position: MIF
High School: Columbus North
Grad Year: 2017
Notes: Trinkle is a 5-foot-10, 180 pound middle-infielder with solid defensive actions. He possesses soft hands and a fluid feet allowing him to get low and through ground balls. The exchange is quick and clean. He possesses above average arm strength at 82 with accuracy from a short arm action. At the Top Prospect Games in June he ran a 7.00- 60. Offensively, Trinkle hits from a balanced setup and uses a small leg kick. The bat speed is fast and bat path is level, getting to extension. He's recorded a high exit velocity of 90 mph off the tee.
