2017 FL Unsigned Senior Games Quick Hits

Fresh off of beating the rain on Saturday, we wanted to take a look at some of the quick highlights from the Unsigned Senior Games at Henley Field in Lakeland, FL. Players took part in a pro-style workout and a game. This event last year had 29 participants commit to schools and this years talent was equally impressive. LHP Mark Paul struck out four in his two innings of work.
C Cam Hoines showed a 2.0 pop and the lanky, projectable left handed hitting catcher had a line drive RBI single.
3B Andres James showed an exit velocity of 92 mph and translated to a double in the game
OF Drew Spencer moved well in the outfield and also had a single in the game
RHP/3B Rob Arakel had two singles in the game and also struck out two in his inning of work on the mound.
LHP Reese Jackowiak has a lanky, projectable frame and worked 82-84 mph and struck out 2 in two innings pitched.
RHP Jared Dole worked 84-86 touching 87 mph and threw curveball and changeup for strikes in his two innings.
1B Blake Anderson wen 2-3 with an RBI and his out has a hard line drive to left.
OF/MIF Logan Alaniz showed some athleticism in the outfield and had an opposite field double in the game
RHP Tyler Tipton pounded the strike zone with 84-86 mph fastball, producing a lot of soft contact.
RHP Brant Brown has filled out and made a nice jump working 86-89 mph with heavy life on the fastball
1B Jack Rodriguez had a single and double during the game
3B Raymond Pereira had a double during the game.
