Season Outlook

The Hubs will look to key offensive returners OF Marqui Hoffman (.386 BA), CF Malik Carey (.329), and P/SS Patrick O???Connor (.286 BA, 36 IP, 3.31 ERA). The Hubs stole 45 bases in 22 games last season with Carey leading the way with 11.  They will have to find a replacement for Hunter Martin, who was second on the team with a .343 BA tied for second with 6 2B???s. Overall the Hubs will have to replace three starters that hit over .320 for them in 2015. The pitching staff will be headed up by O???Connor and Matt Shipley (30.2 IP) anchoring the staff. Newcomers to keep an eye on are C Kaleb Corbin, who should take over as the team starting catcher, and P/1B Justin Atkins, who will be vying for a spot in the rotation attempting to help from the loss of key pitcher Kenny Daniels and replacing his 39.2 IP and 3.18 ERA.
