2016 PBR Draft 100: Highlighting The Last Five Players From Florida

This week we have been covering the Florida players who are ranked in the 2016 PBR Draft 100. As noted in the first article, there are fourteen players from the Sunshine State who are on the list. We first examined the top four players from Florida and then we highlighted the next five. Today we will reveal the last five players and, like the first nine players, see what they need to do in the spring to help themselves in the draft.

Ranked 10th in Florida and 58th in the top 100 is OF/LHP Austin Langworthy. The Florida commit possesses a strong and athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds. He hits everywhere he goes and seems to play better against the highest level of competition. The ball really jumps off his bat for his size and he has great baseball instincts that simply cannot be taught. Langworthy will need to dominate his competition in the spring, like he has for the past two seasons, and play well at the FACA All-Star game right before the draft. Langworthy has a great chance of being picked up in the draft and where a team wants to select him will depend on how he plays in the spring and how he performs right before the draft.
