2015 Team Preview: Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles

Brady Knapp, OF/LHP, Class of 2015 (hit .320 in 2014 / No. 49 in WV Class of 2015)

SEASON OUTLOOK:
The Eagles look to return to the Charleston for a shot at a 3A state title after a one year hiatus. To do so they will have to four starters, three of which were pitchers. The talented graduating class sent three players on to the college ranks.

According to the Coach:
"We will field a veteran team with a strong defense. Brandon Chandler (junior) will be the staff ace. He has pitched on the varsity level since he was a freshman. Brandon went 7-0 with a 2.57 era in 46.1 innings last year. Freshman Michael Maiolo will be counted on heavily this season. He shows a lot of potential and will also play shortstop. He is one of the top freshmen in the state. The offense will not have the power hitters like last year's team, but should produce a lot of runs with a lineup full of contact hitters with good speed."
