If the Arrows can compete and gain momentum vs. Marshall and Fairmont; they put themselves in a great position at the end of the year.

2015 OUTLOOK
Pipestone Area returns significant experience from last season. All-Conference performer Dominic Freese will lead the pitching staff. Freese had 47 strikeouts in 35 innings pitched last year; with a 2.15 ERA and opponents hitting a pedestrian .164 vs. him. Senior's Boyer Bauman, who could be a surprise this year on the mound, and left-hander Mauricio Sada who has 2 years of varsity playing experience will help carry the workload. The Arrows will look to improve on a .291 team batting average and have to solidify their defense with a .904 fielding % last season. Head Coach Rick Zollner is optimistic that they have improved in these areas; while pitching will continue to be their strength.
