Pitchers with 15+ Innings Lost: 4
TOP RETURNERS
2015, Josh Falk, 1B
2015, Ian Cote, C
X-FACTOR
The Skippers lost 10 position players and 4 pitchers who logged 15+ innings last season to graduation. Minnetonka will look to re-load this season with talented players who have limited Varsity experience.
NEWCOMER(S) TO WATCH
2017's Ben Livorsi and Jimmy Ramsey are two underclass players to watch. Livorsi, 6-foot 195-pound catcher and Ramsey, 6-foot-6 210-pound RHP who also swings left-handed lead an insurgent of young players who look to make an impact.
2015 OUTLOOK
Minnetonka's success is built upon defense and pitching. The bat of Josh Falk in the middle of the order should also help the cause. They should be strong in the middle of the field with senior Ian Cote, a S. Dakota State commit, catching along with North Iowa Area CC commit T.J. Nicholson, and 2017 Ben Livorsi. 2016 Jack Kuzma is an up and coming prospect at shortstop and Jacob Stolar has been a good contributor in the outfield. 2015 RHP Shane Rieder and a supporting cast of constributors on the mound will solidify the Skipper's hopes of a state tournament appearance.
