According to the Coach
This year's team will be lead by a solid group of seniors (Daniel Steiner, Josh Skelton, Alec Jameson, Darby Hiser, and Kolten Lynn) and lefties on the mound. Daniel Steiner Sr LHP/1B (Air Force) will be one of the top arms and top bats on the team and region. Josh Skelton Sr RHP (undecided) was 4-2 last year on the mound returning a 1.53 ERA. Hunter Kloke Jr LHP returns a 4-2 record and 2.8 ERA. The top hitters returning will be juniors Kole Gibson who hit .333 last year with 22 stolen bases and Tyler Roberts who hit .313. Seniors Kolten Lynn and Alec Jameson (undecided) will fill utility roles in the infield, outfield, and bullpen. The Colonels once again will attempt to play arguably one of the hardest schedules in state. If Henderson County hits on all cylinders in 2015, they will have a shot to win a 6th District and 2nd Region titles.
