OUTLOOK
The spring should be very kind to the East Carter County Redbirds.  They return all nine starters from last season's 21-3 team.  East Carter's line will be filled with experienced seniors, including one of the state's top catchers, Trever Lewis.  Lewis, a 6-foot-3 185-pound RHP/C, sports a 1.91 pop-time along with an 84 mph fastball on the mound.  Logan Saffle will see his share of innings on the hill, while relying on athletic Tyler Henfling to supply solid defense at SS.  Missouri Class 2 is filled with several quality teams, especially in southeast Missouri.  The Redbirds road to the Final Four won't be easy.
