As we prepare for the upcoming 2015 high school season, we will be taking a preseason glimpse at programs from around the state.

X-FACTOR
Bryce Unruh. The 6-foot-4, 180-pound switch-hitting junior shortstop lead the Red Demons in hitting as a sophomore with a .413 batting average landing himself a spot on the all-WAC First Team at season’s end.

KEY PLAYER LOST
Austin Weiser, LHP, 2014. Weiser produced for Dodge City on the mound and at the plate last spring earning all-WAC First Team honors and is now a freshman at Butler County CC.

2015 OUTLOOK:  
The Red Devils return seven everyday starters from their line-up including First Team all-WAC performers senior third baseman/catcher Dawson Davis and junior shortstop Bryce Unruh. In addition, all-WAC honorable mention junior catcher Gideon Wells will, once again, be looked to for production as Dodge City looks to climb the ladder in the WAC standings this spring.
