OUTLOOK:  

The Tigers have to replace four All-Eastern Kansas League performers off of last year’s team that made a run at the 6A state tournament but the cupboard is by no means bare as their program’s overall depth rivals any program in the state.  They return three 1st Team All-Eastern Kansas League players in junior right-handed pitcher Ryan Cyr, a strong-bodied, quick-armed prospect whom area major colleges are recruiting aggressively; senior outfielder Brandon Lee, a tremendous athlete who signed with West Point this fall and was named also 2nd Team 6A All-State last season; and senior shortstop Mitch Rogers whose actions and athleticism should allow him to stick at shortstop at the next level.  Their talents extends well beyond these three with reliable senior left-handed pitcher/outfielder Ryan Brady; senior catcher Chance Nelson whom many believe is one of the top uncommitted seniors in the state; senior first-baseman Chase Robinson; senior third-baseman/right-handed pitcher Rayn Robinson (Chase's twin);  physical senior outfielder Caeden Harris who possesses a good combination of speed and strength; and projectable left-handed pitcher Tanner Strickbine.  They also have a trio of talented sophomores in left-handed pitcher/outfielder Will Brennan, infielder Tanner Fox and catcher Kobe Gelles – all among the better class of 2016 players in Kansas.
