OUTLOOK:

Dover is coming off a year in which they posted 25 wins, including a perfect 13-0 conference record. They are returning a good amount of experience, which will be important as they will be contending for another league title. Key players that look to help Dover once again go undefeated in conference play include a trio of juniors, Kyle Abel, Cory Contini, and Blake Blair. Abel and Contini are both coming off seasons in which they hit over .400, and Blair is coming off a year in which he hit .315. Not only are they solid hitters, but Abel and Blair look to contribute a great deal from the mound as well. Look for Dover to compete very well within their conference. They will be competing for the title, but it won’t be easy. They will have to beat teams such as Zanesville and New Philadelphia if they want to repeat as conference champions in 2014.
