PBR: Why did you choose Danville Area Community College?
Wilson: I chose Danville because I like what it had to offer, they have two very good coaches and great players.
PBR: Where did DACC first see you compete?
Wilson: They saw me first at a prospect camp and recruited me from there.
PBR: What role do the coaches expect you to play during your first year on campus?
Wilson: During the first year they want me to come in and be a powerhouse pitcher as a starter, as well as close some. They would also like me to contribute as a big hitter in their lineup.
PBR: You play for the Pony Express during the summer, how did playing for them help you as a baseball player?
Wilson: Pony is a great organization, and I had a blast playing with them. I had two great coaches.
PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?
Wilson: The biggest impact for me was my father, he's pretty much taught me everything I know about the game.
PBR: Heading into your senior year at Anderson what are your goals individually and as a team?
Wilson: Personally I want to have a higher batting average than last year which was .418. I also want to have more wins as a pitcher than last year. I was 7-2 last year.
PBR: What aspect of your game do you believe needs the most improvement?
Wilson: Improvements for me include; work on my running speed, gain some more velocity for pitching, and become more of a power hitter.
PBR: Have you decided on a major, or narrowed it down?
Wilson: I am currently deciding between Criminal Justice and Business.
